These are posts submitted by readers about other diagnoses that were impacted by having Marfan syndrome. Unlike most of the other “stories sections,” I do have some rules for submitting an additional diagnosis post.
1) Any diagnosis is welcome, as long as it is/was impacted by your connective tissue disorder.
2) Do not mention the real names of any of your doctors or hospitals.
3) Provide as many details as you feel comfortable with…the point of these stories is to help those who are dealing with the same illness.
Know that all posts will be edited for grammar and clarity. I am looking for a more professional tone for these pieces. In addition, submitted posts are reviewed by a physician to make sure they are medically accurate. I am not a doctor, and none of the information on this website should be considered medical advice, but I do want to make sure information presented is as accurate as possible.
Posts can be submitted to marfmom@gmail.com. I’d prefer if you included a picture, but it’s not mandatory.
