The National Marfan Foundation has yet another resource for parents! They have just made available a short children’s book called Marfan Does Not Mean Martian. It was written by a middle school student named Elias Clark Turner for a biology project. The book “is an inspirational story about Marvin, a boy diagnosed with Marfan syndrome, and the friendship he builds with his new neighbor Joe. The story educates children about Marfan syndrome while teaching them about diversity and acceptance.” You can read the book on the NMF website.
