My fried Jennie asked me to help spread the word about her upcoming fundraiser, Cross the Finish Line for Caroline. Jennie’s daughter, Caroline, has Loeys-Dietz syndrome (a sort of genetic “cousin” to Marfan syndrome).

In its 3rd year, this is a 5K race and “fun run” to increase awareness of Loeys-Dietz syndrome and to raise funds for the Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation. It will be held March 1st, 2014 in Bossier City, Louisiana. This really is a day of family fun! After the race are awards, lunch, and a concert!
